Whether focusing on reading, writing, mathematics, or overcoming specific learning challenges, children work towards achieving specifics goals developed at the start of our time together. I believe in fostering a holistic approach to learning. From addressing attention and executive function challenges to supporting students with cognitive and emotional issues related to learning, my goal is to empower students to achieve academic success and personal growth. With over a decade of experience in education and in the classroom, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to my tutoring practice. I have completed training in Preventing Academic Failure, an Orton Gillingham reading remediation program, and The Hochman Writing Method. My educational background includes a Masters Degree in Childhood Education from Hunter College and a Bachelors of Science in Communication from Boston University.

Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of teaching at renowned independent schools in Boston and New York City, including The Meadowbrook School of Weston, Beit Rabban Day School, Brooklyn Friends School, and The Windward School.
